Yeah sure... but I think it should come out the left hand side.
It's going to get vertically crowded on smaller screens.
I have an idea for my web site.
It basically will start now.
I will of course have all the social media tie ins to wordpress, twitter, facebook, flickr, readernaut, reader etc. (maybe wave if I can figure out wtf that is) But the concept with be the developer / designer dichotomy.
I'm a developer but I'm an artist too.
I want to basically release something immediately, and have it build up as time goes on, constantly reflecting the process of building the site... on the site.
In the end product you will be able to see a representation of the inner workings of the site by pulling back the skin.
The idea here is not to try and over design the representation of building the site, but to expose the process honestly.
This is a genesis of the idea.
For instance... this email is one part of the site being build upon itself

So this is what i was thinking for the header tool tip.
i put a version with a close button. i thought if they closed it, then it would never come up again. if you click on the header will this message still come up whhen you return to the looking in parrt of the site?
